Mum Hacked Daughter To Death With Axe Because She Argues Too Much

A mum hacked her daughter to death with an axe while she was asleep because ‘they didn’t get along’ and she was was ‘too argumentative’.

Tatiana Degirmendzhy, 49, confessed to killing daughter Yulia, 18, at their home in the city of Chaykovsky in central Russia’s Perm Krai region, according to local police.
Tatiana reportedly hit her several times with the axe before she died from blood loss following cuts to the carotid artery in her neck.

She then fled the scene and went to a railway station before jumping on the first train heading out of the city, local media said.Yulia was discovered several hours later by her older brother Sertan, 22, when he returned home.He said he found Yulia lying motionless on the bed in her room covered in blood with spatter all over the bed and walls.

The axe was also covered in blood lying on the floor next to her. He immediately called emergency services.Paramedics later found that Yulia had died from blood loss.

According to reports, detectives believe, from the wounds found on the victim’s body, that Tatiana had tried to dismember the body.Police searched the crime scene and discovered that Tatiana’s passport had disappeared and declared her wanted.

She was found within 24 hours trying to board a train in the city of Izhevsk located 36 miles away from Chaykovsky.

According to police, the mother has confessed to murder and told them: ‘If I had had seven daughters like her [Yulia], I would have killed them all.’

A police spokesperson said: ‘The investigation found that during the last three months the suspect and the victim had been constantly in domestic conflicts.
‘The suspect said she committed the murder on the basis of personal dislike.’
